Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam are NOT feuding, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
As Gossip Cop reported, Hunnam revealed in a recent interview that he and Pattinson barely spoke while filming The Lost City Of Z. The actor explained that he wanted the relationship between their characters “to evolve naturally on screen,” further noting, “I don’t think I said more than ten words to Robert off camera.” He added, “I didn’t know if he was just ‘in that zone’ or if he genuinely didn’t like me. There was a real distance between us. But it creates the right dynamic on screen.”
HollywoodLife has now taken Hunnam’s interview and created a fake news story alleging there’s “a new Hollywood feud brewing” between the co-stars. Only, Hunnam went on to say in his interview that he and Pattinson became friendly once filming wrapped. The actor explained, “He’s reached out to me subsequently, making overtures for us to be friends now, so I think it was about the work.” The two co-stars have also appeared to be quite cordial while posing together on the red carpet at various premieres.
Regardless, Gossip Cop still checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us there’s no feud between Pattinson and Hunnam. The actor was simply referring to their acting process during production, and not the current state of their relationship, which is amicable.
Of course, we’re not surprised by the webloid’s phony report. Gossip Cop previously posted an entire article detailing HollywoodLife’s made-up stories about Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. This latest report from the frequently unreliable site is equally bogus.
